It's nearly September, OMG!

Wow this summer has flew by so quickly & I am so excited to go back to school. I hope this is my final year because I want to start workings so I can focus on my future life.

I had the best summer ever & I did many, many interesting things. I studied my ass off by reading a lot of books especially related to Actionscript. I want to finish off the year strong & get employed headed into graduation June, 2008.

I got my time table almost a month ag0 & I had to take 1 extra gen-ed to catch up since I dropped one semester 2 but I'll be fine.

Check out my timetable:

I think my schedule works out fine since I have a long weekend starting from Friday until Monday. Does it get any better?

Also keep in mind this is the official "TAKEOVER YEAR" for Zishan Ghulam. That means, I give 100% in everything I do and go all out.

Let's Go!

HAPPY HOLIDAYS

Here it comes my final post of the year. It been one hell of a semester and I really had fun. I'm so pleased of how productive I was and the grades I achieved. I never in my life had a possible chance of averaging 80% in all my subjects. It would be a great honor to be apart of that with all the struggles I been through in my life. So it is true hard work does pay off whatever you do. I have no pride in the work I did because I have 3 semester left. I look forward to the challenge & with my mental mind state I WILL NOT LOSE!

I ended up picking my courses right at 1 p.m on Dec.7/06! I didn't really care who I ended up in class with because its more important that I set my timetable to suit my needs. I hope that I don't have to make any major changes but so far I am very happy with what I am taking. I have wonderful teacher this semester from Mark Jones, Joe Bodick & Aviva! The rest I have never met but I am sure I will create a nice relationship with. I never set my goals for 2nd semester yet but I'll most likely make it during the winter break.

This is the final project I was working on for Mark Jones. I made two versions of my layout just to give you another feel of what I'm trying to create. Its a female version & a male version just for those who like their own feel for things.

Female version #1:

Male version #2

This is 1 of 4 persona narrative paragraphs for the project. I will not add any more, so enjoy it.

Plus here is the completed 3-d project for Joe that is due this Tuesday Dec.12/06!

Scene #1 - Drink Up Joe:

Scene #2 - Light Your Ass On Fire

Scene #3 - Get The Pencils Ready Boy

Now some final words, I would like to thank everyone who helped me get through this semester. It's been a pleasure to work with you & if I am not in your class 2nd semester, I wish you all the best.

Take care!

Cock & Shoot - -> Air It Out

Okay, Okay, Okay I am back here to post yet another post on my blog which totals up to 64! I can't believe how much I wrote on this but I guess you don't realize it when you do it every single day. I tried to keep up with it as best as I could and I accomplished that. I had a lot of fun blogging my work and the life in College. Its been wild but so fun, I loved it.

Now I just been focused on trying to perfect my final projects for my other classes to get the highest mark possible. I still have one more project & a exam in English then I am done. You will not see or hear from me until 2007 baby. I have no plans for the winter break but whatever I do it will be productive. I plan on finding news ways to overcome you all as 2nd semester approaches us. I throughly enjoyed DMA and I recommended it to many of my friends in other programs.

I am just up researching on my project for Interactivity, I am doing a design proposal for to promote a mall in a trendy downtown location. I know exactly what I am doing to do because I can visualize it.

I hope it all goes well and that I get done my project before next Monday. I want to maintain my grades or else I will be fucking pissed off.

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!

HARD WORK = MORE TIME TO MYSELF!

PROJECT #3 COMPLETED

Yes Sir!

Well I worked my ass off this weekend to finish my project because I needed to exceed my clients demands. He gave me a call earlier and said Zishan I need the character done by Sunday night. I expect him to come pick it up later on so I need to blog it ASAP ha ha!

I had a lot of issues while I was creating my object but it was fun. You never saw anything like this in your life, its one of a kind. I am not selling it because its only exclusive to the creator ha ha. I don't want no-one to get scared of my character. Its the Christmas season and it could be in high demand like the PS3 but I'll stay put ha ha!

Anyways I will do a break down on the cost and time for this project!

TOTAL TIME ON THE PROJECT WAS 24 HOURS

TOTAL COST WAS $20 DOLLARS

It has been a pleasure to be a part of this wonderful class and I am looking forward to semester 2. I retire from this blog shit, I did what I had to do now its time to step away.

Zishan Ghulam!

PEACE OUT LIKE MY PHOTO ------> CHEA H H H H H H H H H

SEE YOU 2ND SEMESTER!

Its Homework Time!

Hey I just woke up at 2 p.m because I was up all night doing homework. I was just sculpting a few things but nothing that serious. Today my plans is to finalize my creation and post up photo's about it. Then to scan in the drawings to show you how I made it.

TIME AT WORK: 13 HOURS

These are all my texts for Daria's stupid project which is so easy to do. I originally had over 40 fonts cut out but she helped me pick out my top 15 that I can work with. I got this done in under 2 hours

I was just looking up some more interesting sites because I am still clueless on what to create.

http://www.figuredrawings.com/sculpture.html

http://www.sculpture.org/documents/scmag05/may_05/hoffman/hoffman.shtml

This is what I want to create, I love how it looks and I can't wait to see how it turns out ha ha. I know you may not like it but I do and I am in love with it!

Here is what I was working with and all the tools:

Well I been on my bed for the past 6 hours or so and its been stressful. I was creating so many amazing things but it ended up getting ruined. I couldn't keep it in a safe place so my creation looked the way I wanted it too. I finally got something together from the idea I had in my head and from my sketches.

It was crazy man, it took me so long and I was finally able to complete it. I love it so much and it doesn't look that complex but it was the whole process to get to the final stage. I was taking pictures on my web-cam but they all came out bad.

I will post pictures of my sculpture before I paint it so you can get a feel of what I made. Don't make fun of it because I'll destroy you in anything you do ha ha JOKES!

INTRODUCING SUPER HANDI-CAP ZEE IN 3-D HA HA:

I have been working on the painted version but it is not completed yet. It has some drying to do then I can paint it in the morning once I wake up. I will post pictures of the final product so y'all can see what I made!

NOW WE HAVE SUPER HANDI-CAP ZEE IN FULL COLOR HA HA!

THATS IT BABY, BABY!

I'm Still Awake

Hello!

I just woke up after I slept from 11 p.m until 2 a.m in the morning. I was going just going over some of my school notes and organizing myself for a strong finish. So far my goals for the project has been met expect for the beer, which I'm still working on ha ha. I never played around with my clay yet but I will when I get home from school today. I don't have any plans as of yet but I might go to the movies to watch DEJA VU. I love any Denzel Washington movie as I saw almost everyone of his. I hope it is good or else I will demand a refund!

I will start to draw what I want to create so that I can get my ideas down on paper rather then just in my head. I already stated I want to create myself as it would be so cool. I watched a few online videos on how to make a head, some hands as well with feet. It doesn't seem that hard but then again the people doing the tutorials do this for a living.

I feel happy that the end of the semester is coming to an end because its been long but enjoyable. I really learned a lot and the skills I have will be used in the future. I am going to miss school during the Christmas break because I just love the atmosphere.

I hope that second semester actually takes us to another level in terms of our mental state. I am looking forward to working with other students in DMA rather then stick with my same classmates. You never work with the same people in the industry so why work with the same students? I don't know but it will be interesting, to see how it all unfolds.

By the time I finish my 1st year in DMA it would have been nearly 12 months straight since I have been in College. I been through a lot of rough times in the past and now I have told myself, I will do anything to have a better life. I know for a fact school doesn't guarantee you a job even if I went to the best school in the world. The thing is it gives me the confidence and knowledge to get out in the working field. I want to get a job doing what I love rather then just allowing myself to take what is given to me. So when it is all said and done, my expectations are very high now. I won't stop until I get something out of this program.

Anyways my plans for the weekend is to get my sculpture done or at least have something I can work with. I have to bake it and then decide which colors I can paint it with. I have such a busy time on my hands but this is the life I choose. I have to finish strong and give it all I got.

I will post some more progress on my project as soon as possible.

Feel free to leave comments people!

Take care now.

Zishan!

Another Day, Another Idea

Good Afternoon Y'all, Bonjour! Comma Ca Va?

I just came to school at 2 o'clock on my day off like usual. I am in the library right now trying to do some more research. I found a few books on sculpting but they were not that helpful.

TOTAL TIME AT WORK: 3 HOURS

TOTAL MONEY SPENT: $20 DOLLARS

I am going to the art store around 6 p.m today after I get some desert from my girlfriend ha ha. I am going to pick up my clay and a few tools you know what I am saying *Wink, Wink*. I am looking to spend under $20 bucks because I'm a little poor right now.

I found a video on Youtube on how to sculpt with polymer clay. Its really cool and you should see this guy work. It looks like he uses his hands often, I wonder what else he can do? ha ha ha

Part #2

Now I am going to post up directions on how to use polymer clay! Cheers :)

This isn't the weird-smelling clay you grew up playing with. Polymer clays have become the new media with bold colors, long shelf life, and zillions of applications.
Instructions

STEP 1: Start with small projects at first to get a feel for working with this medium.

STEP 2: Wash your hands and dry them well.

STEP 3: Lay a slab of clay out on a glass or Plexiglas cutting board.

STEP 4: Knead the clay until it's smooth and pliable.

STEP 5: Shape the clay into whatever form you have in mind.

STEP 6: Use a wire frame inside the sculpture if it will have appendages or the piece is large. Polymer clay is limited in its support strength.

STEP 7: Make a bead by rolling a ball between your palms. Carefully poke a hole through the middle with a needle.

STEP 8: String beads on a wire stretched between two soda cans to keep from getting a flat side while baking. You may need to put some water in the cans for stability.

STEP 9: Bake the object according to the manufacturer's recommendations. Polymers take between 15 and 45 minutes depending on the thickness, and different brands require different temperatures.

STEP 10: Use an oven thermometer to prevent over or under-baking.

STEP 11: Wait for the piece to cool before sanding and painting. Use acrylic paints.
Tips & Warnings

If the piece comes out of the oven brown or otherwise discolored, lower the temperature.

Do not bake polymer clay in a microwave.

Don't ever bake polymers at more than 300 degrees F. They will produce toxic fumes.
Polymer clay objects should not come in contact with food.

I know you don't check my links so this is for the lazy people who just want to bang the dog, doggystyle. Enjoy :) ha ha!

Until next time whip your ass and dry your face!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Okay I am back from school and I went to pick up my clay from Loomis and tools. They had several options and the one I ended up getting was the most expensive one for $15.95 plus some tools for $2.95 to design my character.

They had clay that cost $5 bucks but once you open it you have to finish your creation the same day. It dries out once the seal is broken, no wonder its so cheap. I didn't want to be cheap so I purchased probably the same clay every other student would buy unless your welfare check doesn't allow you to buy it ha ha!

I will post some pictures so you what to buy once you get there :)

Here is th e super expensive sculpey:

Now the worst part ----->
My magic tools to create myself:

You think that's enough updates for now? I think so, enjoy & I'm hoping on getting a perfect mark on my blog or else I will be cheesed!

Zee!

P.S Don't hate, congratulate!
